About the Author

 

Mary Neher has her BA degree in psychology, an AS in early childhood education, is a certified Family Development Specialist and has been in the field since the early 1990’s working with families, children and teachers.

 

As a Head Start Education Specialist, Mary taught, wrote a curriculum, educational grants and training programs.  She also trained and supervised staff. 

 

She has served as an advisor for the accreditation process in preschool classrooms, worked with children with disabilities and completed developmental assessments.  Mary is a contributing columnist for The Post & Mail Newspaper and for the Greater Fort Wayne Family magazine.  Her passion is making children’s lives better through teaching them and the adults who care for them.  Mary is available to provide training and consultation to parents and teachers.
